Casa Azul

Colour leads this home. In the living room, two cerulean velvet sofas face each other across a carved timber coffee table, with blush armchairs framed in walnut and cane at either end, all on a blue rug. Classical wall panelling in a soft blush and a fluted white cornice give the room structure, while an antique carved mirror and a painted portrait bring in character. A gold sculpture sits at the centre.

The dining area is set against a wall of forest-green panelling with a studded cerulean sideboard, brass lamps and oval-backed chairs in a woven grey fabric. Teal doors line the hallway, with a sculptural teal mirror at the entrance. The bedrooms keep their own palettes: a grey and cerulean room with a cane headboard and a gridded timber wall, a green one with a curved studded headboard and a cane-fronted bedside, and a master bedroom with a tall buttoned black headboard, a four-poster frame with brass corners, and deep blue panelled wardrobes.
