About the Project
The living room is composed and traditional in character. A deep-green leather Chesterfield and a curved grey sofa face a coffee table of fluted black timber, beneath a coffered ceiling and black candle chandeliers. Striped benches, a round bone-inlay table and an antique carved chest add pattern and age, and tall sheer curtains let daylight in. A wall of forest-green joinery frames the television, with open shelving for books and objects, and an antique writing desk and carved chair stand beside it.
Dark and light tones play against each other through the rest of the home. A corridor of checkered marble leads past a sculptural black console and large abstract paintings to the dining area, where a black table meets plum velvet chairs and a layered glass chandelier. The kitchen pairs cream framed cabinets with black granite, and the bedroom is wrapped in a soft floral wallpaper held in timber battens, with olive-green and sheer embroidered curtains and a quiet seating corner by the window.
